Reviews from Sepia EP

When launching "Sepia - Live in the Studio EP" I reached out personally to individuals to give me honest reviews and critiques. I've got a long way to go in terms of my skill as a singer, a performer and a writer; I hope to share this journey with you.

Below you'll see a fiew reviews from generous fans and music enthusiasts. Please bear in mind that these are unedited (the words are their own), but reformatted from conversations in iMessage, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp etc.

Just listened through!

Really rich bro.

Songs are intricate and playful.

Live production sounds crisp as!

My first impression was the production quality! From the first strum of the guitar, the stereo space is so nice and everything is crisp and clean. But not dry, it feels like I'm sitting in a room listening to you perform the songs. The chords are so tasty - some of the progressions remind me a bit of John Mayer who I'm a fan of! Have any chord charts?! I love your choices of melodies and your vocal tone is👌🏽 The songs are different enough to not sound homogeneous, but also still sound like they belong on the same EP. I'd love to hear in a future project how you could bring other instruments in! Even maybe just a simple piano could really compliment some of these arrangements... That beings said I do love the simplicity of it.

At last, a song writer who sings about family, faith, even flirting without sentiment or cliche. Nate Orr sings with courage and heart. These songs land with gentle wisdom and compassion, speaking as much of Nate's character as it does his craft. Songs to  warm your heart and stir the soul.
